Since I now have the Navigon app on my iPhone, I'd like to mount my 3GS onto one of my vents or even my dash. I have a 2008 Honda Accord EX-L V6. I prefer not to mount to the windshield with a suction cup since (unless it has a very long arm) it's a long reach while driving.

I've looked at the following mounts. I also have a BSE skin on my phone and even though it's really thin, it does add a bit of thickness to it and I'm not certain if my 3GS will fit in either of them.

I also saw a really nice solution from ProclipUSA, but it's quite a bit pricier than I'm planning to spend.

Thanks!

do you have a bestbuy or target around you and $22?

if so then bracketron is the product you should go buy, i have one. it works great :)

i actually prefer it more then my window mount i have for my iphone.

those links you posted, well to be honest those products suck.. they look like ULTRA cheap plastic that will break after 5 uses and worse off even scratch your phone.

check out bracketron review on youtube. the guy has a honda accord who did one of the review videos. it works great in my honda civic.

I went to Best Buy at lunch and bought the one below. It was $19.99. Installed easily on my vent. I like this one in particular since it rotates on a ball/socket and can be set to align better with my line of sight. Changing from portrait to landscape requires loosening the nut though. But again, it installed fine in my 2008 Honda Accord EX-L V6 vent. iPhone seems very secure and the padded interface features. Thanks for the recommendation!

Does anyone know of any other iPhone mounts for the dash that allow for easy rotation between portrait and landscape AND will work with a slim case?

Thanks.
