3gs version info

Hi there,

I saw an ad on craigslist for a 3gs brand new iphone for $250. They say its version 3.1.2....is that the latest version or just a code for unlocking? Also can the sim card i currently have now work in a 3gs or does it need that microsim thing too?

3.1.2 is the software version. You can update it to the current one through iTunes if you buy the phone. The 3GS uses a regular size SIM, not a micro SIM.

thank you for the info! I don't know if I'll get the one for $250 since thats a steal but is $395 too much for a 3gs...the guy with that one has responded to me lol

It all depends on the condition and what you are willing to pay. I have seen some 3GS's go on ebay for $450. But I believe those were international deals.
