3GS w/ Applecare stolen, how to cancel applecare?

My 3GS that I had for just over a year now was stolen tonight of all nights. I had just purchased applecare for it last week, and applied it since the original warranty expired on Saturday. Is there any way I can get the $70 back for the Applecare?

Yeah, when my MacBook Pro was stolen I called Apple they flagged the laptop and refunded me a prorated price for the AppleCare.

Make sure to deactivate the phone on att.com in case they try to make a ton of international calls on it.
