3GS won't restore

After I recieved my iPhone 4, I attempted to wipe my 3GS. I checked the phone an hour after the process began and it was not finished. So I let it run overnight and when I checked the phone it was exactly the same. So I attempted to reset it and it would not come on. I then put it in DFU mode, attempted to restore the phone. The progress bar would stop at about 66% and it stayed there for three hours. Then I tried it on another computer and the same thing happened. I dont know what to do now. Any advice?

Same here but with 3g. Trying to use it as a backup to get my apps back.
