My Mrs has a 3gs, same network etc, I have an iPhone 4, I can get signal in places she can't, both running 5.0.1, At home I always have 3-4 bars, she gets 2 bars only if she leaves it on a window, if she lifts it she gets NO SERVICE. Any ideas?

Different antennas, baseband chip.support for a more advanced HSPA protocol are all contributing factors my iPhone 4 is always 1 bar lower then my iP4S

Well more about all the fuss with the iPhone 4 antenna, I thought the 3GS might of been better.

The fuss wasn't a faulty antenna, but, if you held it a certain way, it could loose the signal. So, while the design usefulness was questionable, the actual antenna was significantly ahead of the ones previous.

Of course, it could also just be those particular phones and nothing more. I had 2 identical PBooks (same model, year, configurations), but one was able to easily connect to WiFi long after the other couldn't find a signal.
