If I purchase the XM/Sirius app, would there be a way that I can listen to that in my car going through my iPhone? If so, what would I need to buy to make it work? Thanks

Thanks. I'll look into this. Is there any other cheaper alternative?

Listening to music in your car via a crappy Bluetooth speaker is going to seriously suck.

If you have a line-in (aux) jack on your car stereo, or a cassette slot then you would be far better off getting something that would work with one of those options.

Griffin makes some pretty nice adapters for the car that charge and play the iPhone and even have track playback controls on the cig lighter part.

It still bothers me that I already pay a monthly fee to have Sirius in my car but still have to pay another $3 a month to have it on my phone. Grr.

Yes, I do believe I have an in-line aux where my cig lighter is. I do not have a place for a cassette tape. So what would I need to buy then so I can listen to the XM radio though my iPhone? What cable would need to be plugged into the cig lighter adapter in my car?

This will do the job for you very nicely (I use one in my company car), all you might need is a universal holder, etc, to hang on to your iphone.

This new application is actually a great thing for me. I didn't want to activate Sirius/XM in my personal vehicle because I don't drive it very much and I also didn't want to buy a tuner for my company car since I don't own the vehicle.

This will let me listen to XM/Sirius in both cars for $3 a month. I am just wondering how well the reception and buffering works on AT&T crappy coverage here in Colorado.

it's not a bluetooth speaker. it broadcasts through your car speakers. it works great, clear as a bell. i never have problems with static or anything like that.

Will this work with the iPhone 3Gs? If so, it would be perfect. Thanks!

I would assume that it works only if your car has a compatible Bluetooth stereo system? Or does this have a line out?
