3MB of shared L2 cache in new MB/MBP as opposed to 4 in previous versions

Hi everybody!
The new MB/MBP have a shared 3MB L2 cache as opposed to 4MB L2 caches in the previous versions!!!!!!!
I donot understand that!!!!

thats only on the base mbp, the rest have 6 mb l2 cache

Yeah and trust me you need every single MB on cache. L2 cache is very important. I knew though they would have the 3MB cache though. Oh well.

as mentionned in other threads (ding ding search function), it has 3MB l2 cache...but that's how the processor is made...so it's not apple, it's intel...and the difference between 3 and 4...im sure you wont see it!
