3rd party apps crashing

I downgraded from iOS 7 to iOS 6.1.4 using the method mentioned here https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/1611358/ and all is well apart from a lot of apps crashing like instagram. I have restarted my phone, re-installed the apps and even tried to delete from iTunes but nothing has worked. Anyone know how to fix this? Am I better off waiting till the new version of the app releases or new iOS comes out - will this fix the problem?

Having the same problem here. Instagram goes to the first screen but without any words or logos then crashed after 15 seconds. Nothing I've tried can get it to work.

Try reset all settings.

Try restoring the phone the correct way. The method described in that thread is a roundabout way which, as you've noticed, could break things.
