Just wondering if it was ok to use the LG dare charger for the iphone. I want to make sure the voltage/amps/whatever wont hurt the battery in the iphone. I left my iphone charger at a friends house and while he is shipping it can I use this charger with my iPhone, with a spare cable. I also noticed that the iPhone cable doesn't have clamps like the ipod cable. Is there a reason to this? Is it ok to use the ipod cable?

I have used my old ipod cable with a Dynex USB charger with no problem. The iphone will let you know if something isnt compatible. My old Dynex dock didn't work with it and my iphone wanted to go into airplane mode.
