Is anyone aware of a 3rd party or Apple related SW tool that is capable of screening an IOS device and pinpointing known problems? whether it is hardware or software related?

If you could direct me to a forum or supplier who has information on this topic, I would be most grateful.

http://apple.com

If it's a software issue you can restore iOS to factory and poof, problem solved.

If it's a hardware issue you can use your warranty coverage and poof, problem solved.

If you have no warranty, it's time to upgrade your device. (Or buy Apple Care) and poof, problem solved.
