Hi all- I recently picked up a cheap dock cord off amazon to extend from my unsupported alarm clock's dock- the ip4s just feels too heavy and easy to whack and i don't have a proper adapter for a 4s+ngp case.
Problem is that the cable has a very 3rd party fit feel to it- it is hard to squeeze the side tabs and it just doesn't feel good going in. it is tight and i'm worried that overtime this thing is going to wear out the jack on the phone or just make it so something with a better fit doesn't work. thoughts? should i just nail some plywood into the top of my clock to give the phone some back support?
