Greetings!

I recently found an article that I recall from the past and was wondering if its still in effect? Apple would take third party lightening cables and offer customers their official lightening for a discounted price i believe $10?

Does anyone know if thats still in effect? I bought a an insignia charger from best buy thats apparently apple certified yet its been causing interference with the phone.

If I'm charging with it while listening to music my buttons on my headphones won't work and in a certain floor of the library the screen acts up and refuses to work when using this cable...

Thanks

No, it's not. Plenty of great lightning cables under $10 now. If you are having symptoms you describe, it's from your cable and or charger.

Apple with iOS 10 made some 3rd party cables working under iOS 9 useless. Why? For $
