3rd Party Magic Mouse

I think I'd have to pass. You'd probably get just up/down scrolling and the top is plastic and not glass like the Magic Mouse. Then you have to worry about a dongle.

I know I'm dissing on it, but the premium for a true MM is worth it! Only thing I can't stand using a MM for is Photoshop, besides that they rock!
 
I dont see what this has to do with PowerPC, it should be posted in the Mac peripherals. I don't think its worth it, and the Magic Mouse is bluetooth.

The real Magic Mouse is plastic.
I wouldn't imagine that the fake one will work anywhere like the Apple mouse and the absence of bluetooth is a deal breaker on any mouse I use with a Mac.

I value the opinion of the regulars (Gavinstubbs, Eric, Altemose etc.) here on the powerpc forum more than the rest of the community because I find them to be a bit more reasonable. That's all.

So i should start asking what car i should buy in the Mac Pro section because i trust the people that post there?

all jokes aside. I might give the mouse a shot cause im an "eh, why not" kinda guy. I don't expect miracles and don't need 80 billion gestures I just think it matches the modern apple aesthetic better than a mighty mouse.
 
It will probably be fine. I too use a knock off mouse. Though mine uses a scroll wheel instead of touch, and bluetooth instead of rf. I am pleased with how well it works... less so with the knock off keyboard.
