I have a weird situation with my Mac Pro (2008). I added in an old DVD drive (circa 2001) that I had in an old system. The system sees it in System Profiler, reads DVDs, plays movies, ejects, etc with no problems. It is not a burner drive.

However, it does not show up in Disk Manager. Nor does it show up in the Menu Bar eject button.

It is a Hitachi DVD-ROM GD-8000 attached on the ATA bus.

Anyone know what is going on and how to get it to at least show in the eject menu?

Thanks!
