3rd party RAM for MB881LL /A NVIDIA

HELP! I want to upgrade the RAM in my White Macbook MB881LL /A with NVIDIA and not pay the $200 idiot charge from the apple site. Newegg has a great deal on corsair ($35 for 4 gigs after rebate) but a couple reviews say it's not compatible. What gives?

F'reals, especially seeing how EVERY THREAD on this topic points people to www.crucial.com and their on-site tool which tells you EXACTLY what RAM you need.

the product description on newegg says that the RAM is compatible with "all macbooks" however, a couple reviewers say it wasn't compatible with the new white macbook.

Please, has anyone had any luck with 3rd party RAM. cheaper than the overpriced apple store RAM.
