3rd Party watch faces

Well I saw a few rumours that finally third party faces was coming to watch os10, sadly they were wrong.
It’s clear now that after 10 iterations of watchOS, they aren’t gonna allow it. Maybe because awful faces might devalue the Apple brand, after all everyone can see your watch face if you’ve got AOD, and it might put people off. Also there’s the potential for advertising of other brands, I could definitely see Rolex ones etc
But Apple could stop all that with a curated store - but I guess they don’t want to put the resources into that, not worth it for them

To be honest, I really don’t see a big market for it. There is only so many ways you can tailor the look of such a small screen, and I really think Apple wants it to look a certain way. Plus I would think there’d be battery life drainage issues.
