4.0 vs 3.0-3.1 Jailbreak- What must it include

What must 4.0 have that will get you to upgrade your jailbroken phone?

Anyone planning on not updating?
 
1. Improved notifications management. (Right now LockInfo)
2. Little multitasking but not really critical I guess (I use ProwSwitcher now).
3. Improved app management with folders etc. (Use categories)
4. Something similar to SBsettings to quickly enable disable controls.
5. Multiexchange


Etc.

There are many other things I would like to have but I can lose them...:(

I just hope there WILL be a Jailbreak for 4.x though. I am so much happier with a Jailbroken phone for a number of reasons. I'm betting that 4.0 will not include much of what I like such as themes, changing sounds (charging, SMS, voicemail notification, etc.).

Still, can't wait to see what's new!
 
I dont doubt that there will be a JB at some point for 4.0+ firmware.
I think the JB community has a few aces up their sleeves that they dont want to reveal untill the time is right.....

Those of us aboard the jailbreak train are guaranteed a 4.0 jailbreak. I expect the Dev Team will have us running on 4.0 jailbroken not long after it's released (they will, after all, be able to work on the updates to PwnageTool while it is still in beta).

I might wait for updates to a few crucial jailbreak apps, but I probably won't. After all, with the old bootrom and saved SHSH I can always downgrade if I want.
 
There is litterally nothing apple can put in the 4.0 update that would make me switch without a jb available.

- PLEASE allow themes in the new OS they can make money on them just allow for customization! I think this will be really big I they do.
- bite SMS like text replying without having to close the app
- multifl0w palm pre style multitasking... It's been perfected with this and proswitcher
- sbsettibgs or something that frees up leaked ram before you run an app I personally think the flash of ram should be impli
enter before every program is launched.

can we just wait 2 days and see what they say about 4.0. I'm also looking forward to the I accidentally upgraded to 4.0 what can I do threads! :rolleyes:

That's the reason why I didn't update my istat app... This let's me free up ram on my iPhone this is a must!!

If it's a 3g then omg yes hahaha I can't even use my buds 3g phones cause they are so slow compared to the 3gs!
I'm excited for there to be a 4.0 update and maybe some info leaked about the upcoming iPhone and hopefully merging the 3 products under one OS... iPod, iPhone, ipad. It's really good apple has been able to keep the operating systems so reform. One update to rule them all lol

It will be a matter of weeks till a jailbreak is out for the 4.0 but again if u have a jailbroken phone there should be absolutly no reason for upgrading. There is nothing they can offer that hasn't or won't be done after the 4.0 update
