I'm using the 4.1 beta and so far, when paired with my car stereo, the only difference when using A2DP is that I can now use the head unit's forward/back buttons to skip tracks (I've always been able to use a button on the head unit to play/pause the iPhone music. Well, the "pause" bit is flaky and hardly ever works, "play" usually works fine).

I understand AVRCP *can* support things like displaying track name, etc, but this doesn't happen for me.

I was just wondering if this is a limitation of my car stereo, or is AVRCP not fully implemented on the iPhone?

Does 4.1 address the proximity sensor issue? Or is this still being worked on for another software update down the road?
