4.1 GM Install

Is it safe to assume that if iTunes/Apple validate the 4.1 GM install then the file is legit? Guess my concern is malware included in the GM updates available out there.

I was thinking the same. BUT I downloaded it right after it hit the torrents which was right after it was put up on the dev site so I highly doubt someone had time to inject malware.

Yes and you can do either. I did Option+Update and it's been running fine.

Thank you guys. And the build number is 8B117? Just trying to make sure I download the right torrent. Also, should I remove Cydia's address from my host files (I put it in there about a week ago to try to downgrade to 4.0.1, but never got around to it).
