but im hesitant to download it because of all the battery problems people experienced with 4.3, am i being paranoid or are others holding off as well?

i know its not a major update by any means but i have a bad feeling about it.

FYI, these stories of Battery draining have been around since iOS 1.0 (just search google) and the first iPhone, so its safe to assume that you can upgrade now, this problem isn't going away anytime soon (as long as people with major OSD continue to complain, this issue will live on).

There is nothing changed in this version that would affect battery drain. This is a very minimal security update. It adds no features and changes virtually nothing about the way the system operates. It's just to plug a few security holes and maybe some odd bugs. You probably wont be able to tell at all that you upgraded.

I updated earlier this evening, and no issues whatsoever. I still get good battery life.

Updated last night. No issues and everything seems to be smooth. Maybe even a little snappier? Maybe my imagination.

To early to tell if the battery life is improved or worse. Sp far so good.

i updated fine yesterday.

FWIW its still not 4.3 so no battery issues should be included in theory.

Does anyone have an issue when a YouTube video is loading and you press the volume buttons either up or down it changes the ringer volume instead?

I've held off, but because of no greenpoison, yet.

My volume buttons will not control video volume until the video has begun playing.
While initially loading, the keys manage ringer volume.
So either that's normal, or we both have a quirky phone.

So it doesn't have 4.3 features such as faster Safari and what not? Hmm... maybe I will wait for the next version.

In all seriousness,
The battery issues have been there since 1.0, as someone has recently stated before. No issue.
