How do I go back from 4.2 GM to 4.1? My iphone is so buggy under 4.2 =/ stupid me for installing it before apple released it =/

What exactly issues you have with 4.2? I'm using it almost a day now but haven't noticed any show stopping bugs yet.

have you tried restoring to 4.2 and starting as a new iPhone?

if you really want to downgrade to 4.1 I would say do the following

stick into dfu mode
hit restore
if your stuck in recovery mode after restore use TinyUmbrella to kick out of recovery and your set

the GM release has always been the final build that Apple puts out

if it's buggy now, it'll be buggy when they release it too

I was on 4.1 updated to 4.2. Really choppy and buggy, thought it was really weird and didn't like it. Went back to 4.1. Phone was working like it was before, but I was upset because I couldn't restore from my backup because it was backed up under 4.2. Restored to 4.2 again then restored from my back up. Dont have a single problem anymore.

Depends what iPhone you have and if you have saved your 'blobs' if you haven't then you cannot downgrade Apple disallow it.

Use Tiny Umbrella to check which SHSH blobs you have. If you have the 4.1 blob, you can downgrade.
