Does anyone have an actual 4/24 shipping date? I ordered just after midnight and received a 4/24-5/8 shipping date. Do those claiming to have a 4/24 have the same time span?

Looking at past pre-orders I think it was very smart for Apple to provide a range in their first batch orders. I suspect that a good chunk of the 4/24-5/8 will ship for launch day. Those at the tail end of the orders will get it the following week.
This also allows Apple to bet on a small number of orders getting canceled and pushing some people in the last part of the batch up. All without committing to an exact launch day.

Im very conident that ill get mine on 4/24. I think the window is just to give them a bit of wiggle room, to overdeliver and under-promise. The dates should start to change to a more accurate date a week or so from now.
No one got 4/24 specifically. If you see people saying they have a 4/24 shipdate, they are just using shorthand for 4/24-5/8. People claiming otherwise should be politely requested to provide a screenshot.
No, mine doesn't say ship date at all- only mentions a two delivery time frame.
Same here with 4/24-5/8. And my order was in and complete at 3:01 and I had a confirmation email by 3:02am EST. I hate the fact that they added the "-5/8" to the 4/24..I'm hoping it's a "just in case" date padding thing, and that the majority, if not all of us fist wavers will be wearing our watches this time 2 weeks from now.
I can only speak from experience in many launches. Apple does a pretty good job. But they also tell the customers terrific warm and fuzzy stories.
The ever laughable under promise and over deliver is the joke of the day.

4/24-5/8 is the earliest you could get. That was known before the watches even went on sale.
