Bought an iphone on 4.3.5 yesterday... Tethered JB right away. had no SHSH Blobs and was never JB b4. anyway to restore w/o updating? iFaith doesnt work on 4.3.5 -____-
 
Really? You're making another thread on this?

Use the latest redsn0w version. It should be able to pull the SHSH blobs from the iPhone.

last Q, when jailbreaking with this version, do i select 4.3.4 like before, or do i actually pick 4.3.5 TY (agian)

I'll have you know I visited the Jim Henson traveling exhibit many times, when it was at The Smithsonian and I was in the D.C. area.

I eradicate fuzz! ;)
 
Jim was amazing. I made that <---- (avatar) in art class my senior year in high school. Modeled it after a Muppe in the French Sesame Street. Took me forever to find the correct fur/skin/fuzz/rug for it.

Sad thing, when I took my son, he had no interest, at all. Danged kids!
 
you said it gets the SHSH blob... so after i do the JB i have the option to save the blob o.0. i need that blob man T.T

when i do this, do i just boot tethered over the 9.8jb or actually install Cydia again
 
I don't really remember how the new version redsn0w works, but I do know that you don't have to jailbreak before you can get your SHSH blobs off your device. The feature to get your blobs is in some odd little place. I do remember that.

Sounds about right. Make sure they are the 4.3.5 ones. The ECID is the number burned into every iDevice. It's this unique number that is used when Apple signs SHSH blobs.
 
interesting. so it said it accepted the shsh blobs, i used tinyumbrella and used "query" on redsn0w with the EID of the iphone 4... no blobs >:O
will i have to wait a while or something?
 
The blobs are saved locally, unless you manually upload them Cydia with redsn0w. Also, make sure the "Request from Cydia" option is checked in TinyUmbrealla.
