hi. I'm editing a video. I received 4:3 and 16:9 footage...
I had to convert all the footage to a different format..
so while i did that i also stretched all the 4:3 to 16:9..
is that very bad?
what should i have done instead? any ideas?

Yeah, by doing that you made everything look short and fat which is bad. What you should have done depends on what whether your final format is 16x9 or 4x3.

oh man!.. ok.. so lets say i redo it...
what do you mean letterboxing the footage?
