4-finger Gesture Changed my F Keys

I modded my early 08 MBP as instructed, and now all my F1-F12 keys control different things, or some, nothing.

Is there any advice besides going back to the stock file? I want my 4-finger gestures, but not at the expense of partial keyboard functionality.

theres a setting in the keyboards pref (under system pref) that will make your F keys be F keys or be the special things printer on them

Thanks man; so easy I feel stupid for starting a thread! Setting it to perform as F keys, and then unchecking it seemed to reset everything. So simple. I'm a recent convert from XP so these things are new to me.
