4 Finger Multi-Touch??

Does any one know if 4 finger touch will be available through a software update? Now that I am spoiled by gestures on the track pad, I want four fingers for things like switching spaces, tap for dashboard, double tap for time machine etc etc... I hope it isn't a hardware limitation.

I think Apple is having enough fun developing gestures for 3 fingers...maybe you could write some programs for 4 finger gestures!
