Quick question before I think about speaking to Apple

My screen seems to have a slight flickering issue when I'm looking at websites with a white background (eBay for example)

It does it for about 3-5 seconds and then stops; but it'll do it 2-3 times a day etc

Has anyone else experienced this at all?

most likely a Tahoe issue. Are you on 26.1?

I dont think I've noticed it since updating to 26.2 (been on RC, same build as final)

I didn't have this ever before Tahoe on my M2 MacBook Air 15 inch.

I've seen some flickering like that on my M4 iMac, which is on Tahoe. My M4 Air is still on Sequoia, and no flickering there.

Not sure if it's the same flickering you're seeing, but when it happens I find that changing the brightness is slow and happens in ugly flickery jumps instead of smoothly like normal.

its a jarring bug that probably easily convinces people something is up with their hardware, resulting in unnecessary Apple support calls and Genius Bar appts and maybe even hw repairs.

Yup

TBH it's just a slight annoyance; I'll leave it until the next MacOS upgrade and see how it goes

try Turing off auto video- eBay via screen time on content and privacy as you might need to turn on restriction tho.

I read an article in surfing the web a week ago
and forgot who published this solution/problem with Tahoe'd on recent M-series MBP-airs.

I thought maybe f.lux had something to do with it so I uninstalled that temporarily and don't think I've seen it since then.

Also seems like its come up again on 26.2, albeit not as frequently as 26.0 or 26.1

Annoying how they haven't fixed this yet.

Are you bored or something petal? Nowt else to do than stick up drivel / irrelevant posts?

If you know about the other issue re the marks behind the screen, you'd have also seen that the Mac has gone back to Apple...

Maybe don't bother commenting if all you can do is spout dross
