i just got back from the apple store site and it's so amazing that the cute little crt imac is still available, four years after the imac shipped in august, 1998
not $1299 anymore, it's come down to $799 and i still think it's a good deal for schools though the emac will probably completely displace the crt imac very soon
i say offer the crt imac starting at $599 US starting at mwsf 2003 and make it available thru the rest of 2003
somebody has to counter those six hundred dollar celeron desktops w/15" monitor
