Crazy People

They are trying to beat Ocarina of Time, Majora's Mask, The Wind Waker, and Twilight Princess in 48 hours.

Note they are not playing these games in speed runy ways where they do all glitches possible to speed it up. They are going through them like any other person.

They are already complete with OoT, and are halfway through Majora's now.


Do you think they'll make it?


They have a LIVE video stream of them playing in that link BTW.

I love watching people play video games (well, certain kinds). Now I'm gonna have to keep checking back. The only Zelda games I've ever seen/ attempted were Wind Waker and Twilight Princess so peas pardon my n00bish observations-- looks like OoT despite coming out in what, '98 reminds me so much of Wind Waker even though that was released in the States in '03 (according to Wiki). Is that a really poor observation?

it's gonna be tight. TP is a long ass game

Still, it would be more impressive if ONE guy was doing it, not 5.Basically you just have 5 guys rotating for an extended period of time.
 
Interesting idea... I bet they will start getting scared once they start TP because of it's epic length...
 
I think if you do it with Heavenly sword, it's only fair that you do it 12 times. :eek:
 
No no. They need to do all the Pacmans in 48 hours.

Oh, and think they didn't even finish Majora's Mask by the 24 hour mark so good luck with getting this done.
 
well, i can beat ocarina in something like six hours. i don't remember how long MM is, and i never finished the other two. but yeah, if they're only on MM at the 24 hour mark i don't think it's happening.
 
Wind Waker can be beaten fairly quickly (relatively speaking), but they are not finishing Twilight Princess.
 
Yeah, wind waker can be beat pretty quick if you know what you're doing but they wasted a load of time on MM. They're not going to get Twilight Princess done by the end of the weekend.
 
MM is kicking them so hard. This wont be done, but ill bet they make it at least to the forest temple in TP.
 
They're lame. Should have thrown in Zelda 1 too. It's only like an hour...maybe a bit more when doing through both times. I wanna see someone do the whole series.

Majora's Mask froze about four times and due to the weird saving methods in MM that means a lot of ground lost- so they skipped to Wind Waker. They got to the last or second-to-last dungeon IIRC.
 
Not 3D and never implied it was. If that's their goal then cool...just saying they should do them all if they're going to do them. Missing out on some great gameplay with the earlier series. Better music, story, etc :D I say better story because little to no story is better than turning into a howling wolf and having a character that can teleport, fly, crush things, etc that suddenly can't do it when it would make most sense to and leaves you to your own devices ;)

HA! They didnt do it! But they raised a ton of money for Child's Play which is really cool:)
