40 gig PS3

Anyone have any additional info on the rumored $400, 40 gig PS3? arstechnica had been reporting that it would be announced at the TGS.

nothing announced yet. I seem to remember Kaz saying that they wanted to stick with one SKU again because people seem to dislike multiple SKU's and with the recent "lets-be-nice-and-listen-to-our-consumers-or-we-are-****ed" trend that Sony seems to be following, a price drop for the 80GB model and a further reduction next Spring in time for GTA/MGS/Killzone (all doubtful in Q1 imho) at least thats what some of the analysts seem to be saying.
