Like usual I wake up my Macbook but today it tells me I have to restart....fine.
As I restart it's stuck on the gray screen, I then put in the install disk and boot from it. When I go into Disk Utility my HDD doesn't show up, just the CD. When I go into start up options only Mac OSX cd, and Network drive are available for me to boot up from. NO HDD!! I'm pretty sure the HDD is dead. Is there a way for me to still get the data off of the drive? I plan to take it to the Apple store tomorrow. O, and on top of that I can't eject the disk when I hold down the eject key!
BTW, I'm using a 2.0 GHZ Macbook with 2GB of RAM (I installed that myself..., I know the RAM isn't the problem because it shows up OK) running 10.4.10.

Any ideas? Thanks.
