Hey all,

I have the Apple Watch s8 41mm in silver. Unfortunately, I'm a little undecided about the size.

The silver watch is the 41mm variant.

The Starlight is an Apple Watch SE 44 mm simliar to an 45 mm.

My wrist has a circumference of 175 mm and the watch area on my hand is about 58 mm.

Both look ok to me. I’m a bit squinty and as I have my watch because I like to keep an eye on stats when running, I go for the bigger size otherwise I’d probably go for the more refined looking smaller version. Bloke in the Apple Store told me the smaller watch is a ladies’ watch when I asked his thoughts. 🙄

I regret getting a 41mm, it's just a bit to small. My brothers 44mm is some much easier to read and doesn't look as puny on the wrist (and I'm short booger).
Screen size on the 41mm is almost identical to the 44mm. The bezel shrink really increased the screen size of the smaller watch.

Yeah if his is a series 7 45mm the screen size would be much bigger, but if it’s a series 6 44mm they are almost the same. The 45 mm series 7/8 benefitted from the same bezel reduction screen size increase.

The smaller size is definitely better.

I'm a fella and I wear the 41mm.

I always tell people wear what YOU like. I've got tiny wrists and I don't care what anyone else thinks about how my watch looks on me. The bigger screen is great. My mom has much tinier wrists than me and she's wearing my old 45mm.

I started with Apple Watch in 2018 with series 3. I always got the smaller size. In December I measured my wrist which is 178mm and decided to swap my 41mm watches to 45mm. I love the size and they look great. My wrist seems to be wider on the top than the thickness, if that makes sense. And with my older eyes I love the size. Either one would look great on you. Of course this is my opinion. Get what you're comfortable with and enjoy!

I think both sizes look good on your wrist. If you think your eyes will prefer the bigger content on the larger screen, go with that, otherwise I might go with the smaller one.

Both suit you I would say. I can’t wear a 44mm as it looks ridiculous on me but I’d say you pull off both. Always make sure you can see wrist either side of the Watch as a rule of thumb for looking in proportion. Then again, some like big watches, look at the Ultra for instance which I think looks hideous but many here seem to like.

In my opinion, this is great advice. I wore the smaller watch for years until recently trading my watches for the 45mm. My wrist is 7" and I love the larger size and it looks fine on me. Yep, I can see my wrist on both sides. That was my gauge. But again, it's all about what you are comfortable with.
