I don't know if anyone has mentioned this yet, but with all the new stuff we got on Tuesday we can now jump directly to a chapter in a movie. Just tap the screen, and when you get the little skip/pause thingy there's now a block of little lines that you can tap that brings up a chapter list. Very cool!

Im still on 1.1.2 and when I tap the screen it shows what chapter my show is on and i can forward to the next. Thanks handbrake?

Ya but you should note that it is only for movies and shows purchased from apple. Your own youtube videos or downloaded TV shows won't work with that feature.

This feature does work with the movies I've ripped with HandBrake from DVD to mp4.

Obviously if you use a program that puts them in for you then it will work. Otherwise it wont.

actually it will work, but you would have to put the chapter markers in the movie file. If there are no chapter markers (your youtube videos most likely) then the chapter button won't work. But any movie file with chapter markers, no matter where you got it from, will work.

names?

how do you name the chapters then? i think quicktime might be worth a look...

chapter 1
chapter 2
chapter 3...

yeah, it's nice to see new stuff, too. movie must have chapter because it's normally two hours. but for youtube, tv show? why? it's only less than 50 minutes. it's not neccesary.
