ok i have a 3rd gen black macbook 2.2 and im looking to upgrade the stock 1gb ram to 4gb ram my questions?

1.dose brand really matter?

2.will i notice a big diffrence getting a 4gb ram?

3.about how many apps will i be able to run? i know it depends on the apps but like a estimate?

4.will my battery eat up less power?

5. will my temperature run a bit cooler?

I looked up were to buy on this fourm and I saw DMS store for ram and this is what i saw.

this will do good for my macbook 2.2 its 100$ good deal or what? im not buying apple 800$ 4 gb ram

Yes, going to 4GB from 1GB will you a huge boost in performance. You won't regret it.

Depends what applications your running really, I have 3GB and notice it occasionally when I have a lot going on, but I don't use anything that's very RAM intensive, if you do, you'll notice a boost.

Providing CS3 and stuff like that isn't stuff you run, as many as you want. An advantage of having a lot of RAM isn't being able to run every application on your computer, that's just pointless.

That is the correct RAM and yes Apple RAM is a rip-off.
