Shipped and sold by Walmart and still in stock as of 10:27 AM EST 8/31

Pretty wild deal in my opinion and that it’s still in stock after half day… even if series 10 is getting announced in a week

SS also has the added benefit of cellular

…I might have to a swaperoo up to this from my blue aluminum S7 with 81% health. Yields $125 trade in to apple - for watch only don’t need to trade bands or charger just the watch face

Always been curious about SS configs

Its the best deal I've seen in a long while. I snagged mines in silver stainless steel with the silver Milanese loop.

They're also selling the S9 for as low as $299, which is great too.

Though imo, the S8 is the better deal since its in stainless steel and cellular is already included at a cheaper price than the S9.

Y’all it’s out of stock, but to get a stainless steel Apple Watch in new condition and only have to pay for a price of an Apple Watch SE for it is a very great deal. Btw I got my gold S6 when they marked it down to that same price like the one you listed.

These are very popular deals in Walmart as well, and also you can still get blood oxygen features!

Should be pretty sweet :D

I’ve never had a SS Apple watch
It’s way nicer than an aluminum Apple Watch. I only would get one if it is red, blue or dark green if the stainless steel wasn’t on sale and I needed to replace or upgrade an Apple Watch that is worn out or outdated.

I purposely bought a 40mm Apple Watch gold SS so I can continue wearing the bands i already had with my old Apple Watch Series 1. Stainless Steel is more nicer and gets less dingy than aluminum; even when I accidentally bump it into my nice headphones 🎧 when I need to reach something or while getting things in the refrigerator the watch never gets scratched. I do not use a case on it at all; it gets very gunky when I work out or get it wet. I only will get a bumper if it comes with a band and use it if I need to use heavy machinery and power tools.

Thank you for posting this deal TDF! Was able to snag a 41mm SS Graphite just before they sold out 🙂

I currently have an aluminum 45mm Series 7 but wanted a smaller 41mm version that looked more like a watch on my wrist. I saw the rumors that the new Series 10 models will have 45mm as the “smaller size” so I wanted to get a 41mm while they were still available.

This deal was perfect timing since the new watches are just about to be unveiled in the next few days, meaning I can see what the new model brings, and then decide on what I will do within the 30-day return period this has.

Pretty amazing to get a SS Series 8 for the same price as an Apple Watch SE! 🤯 I combined the purchase with a credit card that was giving 5% back on Walmart purchases as well as $15 off if paying via PayPal 🤑

A few thoughts regarding this Series 8 SS watch: 🤔
  • I currently have a 13 Pro Max which I’m perfectly happy with atm. If I end up keeping it and waiting to upgrade to the 17 Series or later, its really nice to have a Series 8 watch with the crash detection sensor.
  • I love the idea that the sapphire screen will be nearly impossible to scratch, but I’ve seen a few reviews that say it is also more reflective and harder to see in the bright outdoors than the more scratch prone Ion-X glass.
  • I like the look of the graphite SS more than the blueish tinted aluminum midnight. I’m hoping that the graphite body resists scratches since you can’t polish them out the same way you can with the SS silver version.
  • It’s awesome that this still has the blood oxygen sensor. As a person who currently has sleep apnea it’s really nice to get a rough idea of my O2 throughout the night. I hope that Apple finally settles with Masimo and brings this sensor back, but in the meantime it’s nice to have a model that still has it.
  • I’ve seen posts that the graphite Milanese loop will instantly scratch the watch if it rubs against it. I like the look of the loop and will have to make sure I’m really careful with it early on or simply get a different band.
  • If I end up keeping the Series 8 SS, I’ll end up doing what TDF did and trade my S7 into Apple for $125 💵

🔥. I agree ☝️ man. But before you think about upgrading or downgrading case sizes… will you multi pair your Apple Watches? You can use the aluminum one if you want for sleep tracking or worse comes along, if the stainless steel one needs to be fixed in the Apple Store. Some people use their older or extra Apple Watches that will run new watchOS versions for sleep tracking.

All activity data and Watch faces will automatically transfer over once you pop one of the two Apple Watches on your wrist! If you trade in your 45mm one, will you keep your band collection or save it if you need an Apple Watch Ultra in the future?
