Strange runs on CPU...

This has happened a couple of times in the last few days. Just now I started Transmission (first time I used it to download anything since switching from Azureus). Suddenly my fan was going crazy and my processor was getting crazy hot. Should I be worried?

mdworker and mds are processes to do with Spotlight, perhaps it is trying to index a very large torrent. You could put you torrents folder in Spotlights privacy list in System Preferences - Spotlight

Installdb seems to be related to an installer, where you installing something at the time?

To be honest, I can't remember the circumstances surrounding the first one. Yeah, the torrent was a whole bunch of pdfs...
