Do Apple Refurbished Computers Come From the US?

Anyone know if the apple refurb products come from a US facility or overseas?

Do the refurbished computers take longer to arrive then new computers?

Does anyone still have tracking info that shows this??

The refurbs I've bought shipped out of California, and they ship quick.

I tracked down the info from my last refurb computer order. It shipped the same day it was ordered and arrived four days later.

Cool, thanks for the response. I just want to make sure the refurbishment is done in the US and that it doesn't take a really long time for those units to ship.

Apple doesn't list items on their refurb site that aren't, actually, in stock. When they run out of stock, they take it off the site.

I have bought refurbished iPods and all have shipped from California and were here in 3-5 days

Refurbs come from wherever you are in the world. I live in Ireland and refurbs come from Cork in the south of Ireland (An Apple factory). If I were in the UK the refurb would come from their or Ireland.
