After being dissatisfied with iCal Server (specifically the web interface). I found another CalDAV server, Chandler Server (Cosmo), which runs through Tomcat. I got the stand-alone copy running just to checkout some of the features, and now I'd really like to integrate this into my main workstation running Leopard Server.

I've got no experience at all with using Tomcat. Can anyone with some experience provide some pointers as to how to install this into /Library/Tomcat?

Thanks,

Chandler Server, Unable to get read/write access

Any news on this? I wrote an email to the chandler list (yet to be approved by the moderator):
-------------
I've been scouring the net for info and am getting all kinds of
information except what I need.

I have an iPod Touch 64G (3rd gen) and am trying to get a CalDav
connection to my chandler server. I've tried all kinds of stuff:

I've took the Apple iCal link and used it as a subscription where I can
view my Chandler collections but can't *write* to them.

I then took a "special" CalDav link of the form:
hostname:8080/chandler/dav/users/xxxxxx
as a CalDav account and it too has the events show, but I can't *write*.

Finally, I took the CalDav link from Chandler server and used it to
setup the CalDav Account on the iPod. The verification worked but no
collections or events even show up on the Calendar app.

FYI, by *write* I mean making an entry on the iPod and having it show up
in my Chandler Server web application. As for firmware, I'm at
3.1.2...default upon purchase.

My goal: sync my collection(s) on the Chandler server with my iPod and
other apps (Sunbird...which works by the way).
---------------------
Anyone have any success with r/w access to Chandler Server (Cosmo) on IPT Calendar?

Addendum...

I can sync just fine to Chandler Hub...but not to the default install of Chandler server. I can't find the difference. Help?
