42mm leather strap width

I want to get one of these to go with a connector but not sure what width to get. Can someone let me know what width their Apple leather strap is?

The size of the connector would dictate the width of the band you are wanting.

I appreciate that but there seems to be a small gap between the official band "connector" and the band thus the question.

The size of my connector is 24 mm but I wasn't sure if you are meant to fill the whole gap.

That bands are going for a couple of dollars on EBay. Don't pay £35,- for them.

It's personal preference. If you're mimicking the Apple look you get a 22mm. Many however prefer the 24mm as it better "fills" the connector.
