There is buzz that Apple has already developed a Pro version of the MacBook Air. The tv commercial is already in the works...this coming from a member of the ad production team. Don't have any info on a release date, though.

bless.....

The current MBA is about as pro as your going to get with a slim light laptop from Apple.

It also is pretty much priced up in the 'pro' category anyway.

Just be grateful your member of an ad production team, does not work in research.

:rolleyes::rolleyes:

Yea, it sounded crazy to me too. Regardless, this is coming from his mouth...who accurately spec'd the MacBook Air to me 3 months before it arrived. But, it doesn't really matter. I don't have time to convince anyone that a rumor is true.

Yea, I heard this rumor too. It's supposed to be one sweet machine!

3.5 GHz Intel quad-core Xeon processors, 8 GB memory standard, 1 TB hard drive, built-in Blu-Ray DVD WRITE drive, 12" screen, separate graphics card (can't remember, but think it's an ATI), 8 USB ports, swappable battery that has an average life of 8 hours with internet surfing and running Photoshop, and a built-in solar panel charger on the rear of the LED display lid.

All for only $1500 in a unit that's a 1/2 inch thin and only 2.5 pounds!!

You were so close but my inside source confirmed that it has both an SSD and a regular hard drive.

What sounds crazy is that you not only seem to know developers for the Macbook Air and Macbook Pro, but you also know people on the iPhone Dev team. Sorry but all this sounds like another made up game to me. Rumors don't count if you pulled it out your butt and claimed it came from a developer which is obviously what happened here.
