How can I speed up my Leopard boot time on my Macbook Air?

I have a MBA running 10.5.2 and my boot time is about 1 minute 20 seconds. My only major software install is Office 2008 [and I have XP Home and Office 2007, but I don't think that is affecting anything]. What can I check to see if I can speed up my boot time to the 45 second time I had when I bought the computer 2 weeks ago?

One of two things: Nothing; wait for 10.5.3. For some people, the slow boots does appear to be permanent.

Leave the machine on (sleep allowed) for 2.5 days total. You can turn it off or reboot if needed. In fact, reboot more often than usual. After 2.5 days of uptime and a reboot, the first refresh of the hot files area occurs, and you may notice a speed increase.

10.5.2 was a big update, so the old hot files arrangement is no longer optimal and it takes time for the system to see the new pattern.
