Mac Specialist Pay - Question?

Hey Guys,

So ive been interviewing for the Mac Specialist job (Part-Time) at my local apple store. The interviews have been going pretty well and hopefully they offer me a job. What i was wondering is what should i be expecting for pay? Im not trying to get greedy here, but as a poor college student who basically has to do homework all the time, i have to find a good paying job. I would of course happily accept a position at apple, but i would like to know what sort of pay im looking at, to help make my decision about how much i should per sue other options.

Any help would be greatly appreciated,

A job title isn't much to gauge a pay rate on.

I was just wondering if a current Mac Specialist could give me a vague idea. I imagine that Apple (as a company with thousands upon thousands of retail employees) has a standard pay grade table or something similar.

it'll be usually .50 to .75 cents above your city/state minimum wage..


If you get the part-time apple job and if you wanna go full time.. You better sell your butt off... because that's the only way to do it .. hired @ PT to FT..







edit: i don't work for Apple.. i just know some the Apple job process...

I was pulling in $9/hr when I worked at the Mayfair store in Milwaukee.

Not sure when you worked there (I'm guessing quite a few years ago), but I was making $11.00/hr this time last year at the same store...
