I'd like to be able to burn DVD's that are more than 120 minutes long, I can't figure out how to split it in half, well basically im too lazy to look it up....thanks for any help.
 
It depends on the configuration of your MacBook. If it's a Core Duo, I believe those were not dual-layer Super Drives. I am pretty sure the Core2Duos are. Also make sure you have a Super Drive and not just a combo drive that comes in the base model

Look under Hardware there should be a "Disc Burning" section. Click it and it will say all the types of media you can burn to. If your DVD burner can burn dual layer it will say under DVD write: +R DL
