Yup 44 with the sport band, had it fav'd. Luck was with me and the store opened right at 01 on my phone via the app.
In my experience the later ship dates get bumped up to release date, at least it happened to me a few times before. Hope it happens this time for you folks.
My order delivers between Sep 28- Oct 2. Now I just checked the 44mm SS Gold the delivers date change to Oct 5 - Oct 1.
Sorry forgot to mention that the model I am looking at come with the Gold Milanese Loop, not the regular rubber band.
At 08:02 (as soon as the UK app opened) the SS gold 44mm with milanese was already stating deliver 27th September - 1st October.
Seems like Sep 27 is the earliest date Apple can do for the 44mm Gold SS with milanese band. 28 is not bad for me.
I ordered at 2:04 CST and the best i could get was 9/28-10/2 for the Gold SS. I checked space black and it said the same thing so I went with gold. Hopefully it ships early.
Be sure to check your local Apple Store via the website. Noticed today I could have simply walked in and bought a Gold SS 44MM....as they had them in stock!
Yep!! That was what happened to me. I was and am very excited to have gold stainless steel 44 mm watch matching with my 512 gb gold XsMax.
My delivery date was Sep 28 - Oct 2, but to my surprise, the delivery guy just knocked on my door and handed me this! Wooooot

I really like the color. It is more copper than gold. Here it is side-to-side with my gen-1 plated watch (I'll take a better one later with the plated milanese too). I love the new shape/size.

My fiancés went from 26th of sept (first batch for Australian delivery) to 1st of October. Didn’t even get an email from Apple.
None of the stores in Australia got the gold Milanese band unit on day 1.
Hopefully we see it sooner. Mine still says processing.
