Truck wins!
BTW, the Apple Store folks were great with the exchange program. Everyone was in awe of the damage. Worst they've ever seen.

Wow that is the worst damage to an iPhone I have ever seen. I feel for you. I am really curious did they charge you the $250.00 to exchange it? If not you are lucky... I guess, as lucky as you can be after that has happened to you iPhone. Well, keep your new iPhone colse to you and don't let that happen to it.

Of course he paid the $250 Apple isn't Mother Teresa of electronics.

Yes, the exchange was $250. Accidental damage exchange. Sadly, they had to keep the phone. My son wanted to frame it and call it art!

You post a pic like that and you don't bother telling a story?
You probably call people and don't leave messages if they're out right? :p

Yeah, let's hear what happened. Who leaves their phone on the ground and then runs it over :D

The Story:
It was actually my wife's iPhone (mine is fine, thanks for asking). She placed it on the trunk of her car (that's the boot for you Brits), got distracted and drove off. I happened by about 30 minutes later on the highway just outside our subdivision and I noticed what looked a lot like an iPhone in the middle of the road. I looped around to investigate, scooped up the cadaver and took it back home. Needless to say, my wife was devastated. I was quite stoic about the whole thing, never doubting I would replace it.
Surprisingly (or not), the sim card was completely intact in its little drawer and fired right up once placed in the new iPhone.

The truck part of the story is pure speculation on my part.
