I bought The Italian Job about a week ago and added it to my 80 GB iPod classic. I tried watching it for the first time last night, and, at exactly two minutes and thirty-five seconds into the movie, my iPod reset itself. I was a little confused at first ("Hey, I don't remember an Apple logo being in the opening credits before....") but more or less unfazed because I'd experienced similar random resets previously. After waiting for my iPod to recover and show the main menu, I went back to the movie and started playing it. Again, two minutes and thirty-five seconds later, playback stopped and the dumb thing reset itself. I was beginning to get annoyed. Not knowing what else to do, I restored my iPod, added the movie to it again, and started playing it. Guess what happened two minutes and thirty-five seconds later! Yep, my iPod reset itself.
I've looked around the web for possible causes/solutions but with no luck. It doesn't make any sense. The danged video came from the iTunes Store for crying out loud; why does it screw up my iPod?
Does anyone have any suggestions?
NOTE: Both iTunes and QuickTime have no problems playing the movie on my PC.
