Anomalously http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=305336-en does not indicate the exact percentage processor slowdown when running a MacBook from A/C adapter while battery is removed.
I have read( https://forums.macrumors.com/threads/424052/ ) that the processor slows down on a MBP to 1ghz or "half speed". I assume a similar slowdown occurs on a MacBook IF the slowdown percentage information of 50% is true.
Since Apple apparently omits the crucial "how much does it slow down" information can anyone tell me where Mac users are getting the "half speed" or 1ghz numbers?
Is there a simple app that Leopard has, or that I can get, which will show me how much, if any, running without a battery slows down my 2.2ghz 4gb MacBook's processor?
