48 Hours with 16" 2.4 32gb 5500 with 8gb 2tb

Was within return period from 2019 15" 2.3 32 Vega 20 2TB MBP and upgraded to 16" 2.4 32 5500 8gb 2Tb that they had in store.

Went for the 2.4 because that's what they had in store and hoping the thermals help with it. One thing I do notice though is that it runs hotter to the touch in general. Does the 2.4 create significantly more heat than the 2.3? It's not a deal breaker, but the 2.3 15" was cooler in every situation.

Overall love the screen. Noticeably bigger.

Keyboard does feel like going back in time, but really enjoy it. I did not mind the butterfly, but do enjoy this much more.

Speakers sound great. I don't know if they are significantly louder, but better separation and bass.

Overall happy with it!

If it feels hotter then the Chasis and thermal conduction are doing their job. You are one lucky sob being within your return period. The only Unforgivable slap in the face is the lack of WiFi 6
other than that I’ll temper my gripes. Also the GPU is a generational leap over the VEGA 20 I’d be irate had I got a VEGA 20 equipped MBP in 2019.
