On the computer.
Does anyone know when the Buy a Mac, Get an iPod promotion starts, or even if they're going to do it this year. Also, how does that work? It's usually a 150$ credit towards an iPod right?

typically it is for educationally discounted items only. (have to be a student or teacher and be using the education discount)

and it also usually coincides with back to school; AKA: August or so

$150 sounds about right.

though, it used to be you got a free iPod Mini OR a credit towards more $$$ models. So perhaps now its a shuffle or a nano or a credit.

it typically *ends* in august or september. It starts around may or june and runs through the whole summer.

In the past, the rebate amount has been enough to get the low end mini/nano for free, so I guess that would be $150 now. Strangely, shuffles were not eligible last year, but you were allowed to put the discount towards a bigger nano or full size ipod.

The offer applied to Student and Employment discounts i think, im sure it was all though...

In uk it was £130, which is an 8Gb Nano now ^^
