Im sure ive done it before but can't remember how can someone tell me?

thanks :)

its the one with
Music Movies etc on the Left...

sorry but that don't make sense

i want the whole bar to go if you didn't understand me the first time :D

It makes perfect sense. But if you want all your music in one sidebar-less window, select all the songs in your Music Library, choose File>New Playlist From Selection and double-click the new playlist, then close the original iTunes window.

thanks above i get that im not hot on itunes, and i never use playlists

but it worked :D

If I double-click the icon of my Top ~20 playlist, that playlist is opened in a new window. That window doesn't have the library sidebar:

If that wasn't what you were after, then what are you looking for. (The droplet in the top right corner, which removes the Finder sidebar doesn't exist in iTunes, sadly you might say.)

Edit: Too slow with the screen shot... time to go to bed... ;)

I tried this and it's not working. Closing the main window closes the whole application.

Yeah...

I found this thread via google and only just realized this forum is under Apple Hardware. Is iTunes for windows help allowed here?
